The Chamber of Deputies approved, on 21 April 2023, the draft Bill on the Protection of Whistleblowers transposing the Directive on the Protection of Persons who Report Breaches of Union Law (Directive (EU) 2019/1937) (‘the Whistleblowing Directive’), following the bill’s third reading in the 63rd meeting of the Chamber of Deputies. In particular, the bill is now awaiting consideration by the Senate.
